It’s back to school time.
You can feel that energy in the air as students head back to class and rededicate themselves to learning.
(At CPS schools this week, there’s another energy coming from the Chicago Teachers’ Union strike, but that’s another convo.)

Every story, essay, poem and song in this playlist was created by youth.
Contributions came to us from Vocalo partners, including The Mash, Free Write Jail Arts, &Chain Reaction.
Ted Wacholz, President of the Eastland Disaster Historical Society, describes Chicago’s greatest tragedy. Originally aired on 4 Star History Episode 7 on Vocalo 89.5 FM on 8/8/2012.
Global Girl media screening at Westinghouse. Wait til you see the Chicago Global Girl Media contingent’s video docs. #youthmedia
